Dr. Yang is a distinguished board-certified endodontist and Associate Professor in the Department of Endodontology at the Kornberg School of Dentistry, Temple University. He earned his D.D.S. and M.S. degrees from Sichuan University, China, in 2003, followed by a D.M.D. from Temple University and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Connecticut in 2009. Dr. Yang completed the graduate Endodontic program at the University of Connecticut School of Dentistry in 2012, earning an additional MDS degree and solidifying his expertise in advanced endodontic care.
Dr. Yang is a board-certified endodontist through the American Board of Endodontics and is actively involved in clinical practice, education, and research. His research focuses on improving endodontic outcomes through innovations in dental materials, regenerative techniques, and clinical protocols. He has served on the Research and Scientific Affairs Committee of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) and the Scientific Advisory Board of the Journal of Endodontics, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge and professional standards in the field.
Dr. Yang has been recognized with numerous awards, including the AAE Endodontic Educator Fellowship Award and the AAE John and Joyce Ingle Fellow Award, reflecting his dedication to education, research, and patient care.
