Dr. Ritu Manchanda was born in Delhi, India, and earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) with honors from Bharati Vidyapeeth University in Pune, India. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2009 and has been in clinical practice since then.
Dr. Manchanda practiced as a general dentist for 10 years throughout Delaware County, PA, providing comprehensive dental care before pursuing her specialty certificate in Endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania. During her residency, she was honored with the Louis I. Grossman Award for academic and clinical excellence and instructed visiting clinicians in advanced micro-endodontic techniques, including apicoectomy procedures.
She currently serves as part-time faculty in the Graduate Endodontic Department at the University of Pennsylvania and is pursuing Diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Manchanda is also an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, ADA, PDA, and local dental societies.
Renowned for her composed demeanor, deep empathy, and compassionate approach to patient care, Dr. Manchanda is dedicated to delivering meticulous, patient-focused treatment utilizing the latest advancements in conventional and microsurgical endodontics.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her boys, embracing every opportunity for family connection and outdoor adventure.
